Servant Evangelism Today: Valentine's Edition

Today I finally got to go to our church's Servent Evangelism outreach today. I haven't been able to in about a month because of things kept popping up and i've been sick as well. I love getting out in Columbus and serving people and showing God's love. It's like mini missions trips for our city! I usually like to try and go every week. Today we got little valentine cards with the suckers attached and on the back wrote "to: you! From: Grove City Vineyard" and when passing them out, we told them we were doing this to show God's love. It was just a nice little way to let people see christians and how they really should be acting!! Getting out there and serving/loving people. I did feel a tad out of my comfort zone because we were just handing them out to whoever...i'm usually more comfortable with serving type of outreaches like giving out pop (people need it on a hot day) and carwashes, and giving out free lightbulbs & scotch tape, door to door. I loved doing this and it was great, just a little out of my comfort zone!! But all in all...it was a fun morning. I had a meeting this morning @ 8:30am with my co-workers at my clients home. Her name is Missy and she is MR/DD. (Mentally Retardation of Developmental Disabilities). I love her and so glad I have this job. I am very excited to get into the healthcare/medical field. Anyway...no plans today except for chores and hopefully....(putting potrack up & shelving unit in living room???) shhhh...Brians not excited about that!! haha.
